Working to the tide table

Spring low tide comes twice a lunar month, and then you have about ninety minutes before the water returns.

I work with a plastic mat, a towel and a lens that can get wet. Everything I pick up goes back into the same pool, facing the same way.

The nudibranchs are the hardest. They are between eight and twenty millimetres long, they move constantly, and the water moves with them.
